Individual format
Individual Gong Meditation
Individual · 1.5–2 hours · from 8 000 RUB
An individual gong meditation is a personal session lasting one and a half to two hours. The format includes three stages: preparation, the session itself, and integration.
Before the session — a short conversation: Alexandra learns about your current state, discusses your request, and helps you settle in. Then you take a comfortable position, and the sound work with the gong begins.
The gong's vibrations affect the body directly — slowing breathing, reducing muscle tension, and helping the nervous system shift into deep recovery mode. Many participants describe a sensation of weightlessness, a slowing of internal dialogue, and profound calm.
After the session — an integration stage: discussing sensations, recommendations for maintaining the state. Over the following week, Alexandra remains available for questions and support.
The format is suited for those seeking deep recovery without words and analysis — through bodily and sonic experience. No prior meditation experience required. Sessions are held in Moscow.
How it works
The gong generates low-frequency vibrations that travel through air and surfaces. Lying close to the instrument, you feel them through your body. This is a physical effect: vibrations slow breathing, reduce muscle tension, and shift the nervous system from activation into recovery. It happens on its own — no effort required on your part.
How it differs from a group session
In a group format, Alexandra works with the whole room. In an individual session — just with you: a slower pace, space for conversation before and after, the possibility to pause mid-session if needed. Plus a week of follow-up support — because sometimes things continue to unfold after you leave.
Gong meditation, sound meditation, gong bath: what is the difference
They are mostly names for the same thing: you lie down and the sound does the work. It is called a gong bath because the sound surrounds the whole body. Sound meditation is the wider term and includes singing bowls. Bowls give a clean, narrow tone that suits precise work. A gong gives a dense low wave you feel in your chest and stomach, not only in your ears, which is why it switches the mind off more easily. Besides the gong, Alexandra uses other sound instruments to open and close the session gently.
Where the session takes place
Two options: a quiet rented studio in Moscow, or a home visit. At home you need space to lie down at full length and an hour and a half to two hours without calls or deliveries. Alexandra brings the gong, a mat and a blanket.
Aroma during the session
If you like, essential oils can be added. Before the session Alexandra offers a few scents and you choose the one that feels right. Later the scent works as an anchor: one breath at home and the body remembers the state after the gong.
Group gong meditations
Occasionally Alexandra runs open group gong meditations in Moscow. There is no fixed schedule: dates and sign-up are announced in the Telegram channel @Aromara_ru. A group session is shorter and cheaper, without the conversation before and support after, and a good way to try the format.
Key points:
- ●Preparatory conversation
- ●Session 1.5–2 hours
- ●Post-session integration and 7-day support
Frequently asked questions
Is meditation experience required?+
No. You just need to arrive and lie down comfortably.
What does the week of follow-up support include?+
The option to write with questions or share what comes up after the session. Sometimes things continue to unfold once you are home.
How many sessions are needed?+
One is enough for many people. There is no course structure or mandatory repeat visits — only if you want to.
How is a gong different from singing bowls?+
Bowls sound clearer and thinner. A gong produces a low, dense vibration the whole body feels, so it helps more when it is hard to switch your mind off.
Can a gong meditation take place at home?+
Yes. Alexandra comes with the gong, a mat and a blanket. You need room to lie down at full length and quiet for an hour and a half to two hours. A rented studio in Moscow is the other option.
Are there group gong meditations?+
Yes, occasionally, announced in the Telegram channel @Aromara_ru. There is no fixed schedule.
Who should mention something in advance?+
If you are pregnant, have epilepsy, a pacemaker or a recent surgery, mention it when booking. We will discuss whether the format suits you and what to take into account.
